Physical Rehabilitation and Physiotherapy for the Elderly (90 min)
1. Activation and Joint Mobility (30 min)
🔹 Welcome and brief explanation of the importance of physical rehabilitation to maintain independence.
🔹 Gentle warm-up exercises: circular movements for shoulders, wrists, hips and ankles.
🔹 Controlled stretching to improve flexibility and blood circulation.
🔹 Coordinated arm and leg movements to activate muscles and improve overall mobility.
🛑 Rest (10 min) – Hydration and relaxed talk about how the body feels after the warm-up.
2. Strength and Stability Exercises (30 min)
🔹 Activities to strengthen leg and torso muscles with simple movements.
🔹 Balance work: walking in a straight line, keeping the posture on one foot (with support if necessary).
🔹 Use of supports such as chairs or bars to perform muscle strengthening exercises and improve stability.
🔹 Technique for safely getting up from a chair to work on leg strength and coordination.
🛑 Rest (10 min) – Relaxation with deep breathing and gentle stretching.
3. Functional Mobility and Final Relaxation (20 min)
