Session: Memory Palace – Loci Method (90 min)
1. Introduction and Cognitive Stimulation (30 min)
🔹 Welcome and simple explanation of the Loci Method and its usefulness to remember better.
🔹 Mental activation with attention and concentration exercises.
🔹 Association of memories with mental images to reinforce memory.
🔹 Initial practice: recalling a list of words using familiar locations.

Loci Method Programs – Memory Palace
“Palace of Wisdom” – Mnemonics and Creativity Workshop
Description: A group program where participants design and customize their own Memory Palace, assigning rooms or hallways to categories of useful information (names, medical appointments, prescriptions, daily activities).
Methodology:
Exercises with weekly challenges to increase the difficulty of memorization.
Benefits: Improves daily information retention, stimulates creativity and strengthens memory confidence.
Use of mental images and narratives to reinforce memories.
Creation of mind maps with drawings and descriptions.
“Map of Memories” – Use of physical maps and illustrations to strengthen memory.
Description: This program uses physical maps or illustrations drawn by the participants themselves, helping them to build their Memory Palace in a tangible way. Plans of houses, streets or significant places for each person are used, where they associate relevant information to different locations.
Methodology:
- Each participant chooses a familiar place (home, childhood neighborhood, library, etc.).
- Drawn maps or mock-ups are created with labels of memories and concepts.
- Memorization exercises are carried out based on guided imaginary tours.
- Memories are reinforced with weekly review sessions and group storytelling.
“Walk and Remember” – Memory training based on physical spaces.
Description: This program combines guided walks with memory exercises, using familiar places (parks, day centers, homes) as landmarks to recall lists of words, events or daily tasks.
Methodology:
Includes quiz games and group sessions to share memories.
