Writing is a powerful tool to exercise the mind, reinforce autobiographical memory and connect with our emotions. Through this workshop, we help seniors to capture their memories, activate their creativity and strengthen their written and oral expression.

Therapeutic Writing and Memory Session (90 min)

1. Connection and Memory Stimulation (30 min)

🔹 Brief introduction and welcome.
🔹 Evocation exercises: guided questions about happy memories, special places or significant moments.
🔹 Association of memories with images, music or aromas to stimulate memory.
🛑 Rest (10 min) – Hydration and free conversation.

2. Reflective and Creative Writing (30 min)

🔹 Therapeutic writing techniques: brainstorming, free writing or letters to self.
🔹 Writing short stories, anecdotes or messages to loved ones.
🔹 Use of metaphors and sensory descriptions to deepen memories.
🛑 Rest (10 min) – Relaxation with soft music.

Sharing and Emotional Closure (20 min)

🔹 Optional space to read written fragments and share experiences.
🔹 Reflection on the writing process and how it aids wellness.
🔹 Close with words of gratitude and recommendations to continue writing at home.
